y Gaer Museum, Brecon | Pays de Galles
The city of Gouesnou has been twinned with Brecon in Wales since 1988.
As part of the TERRITOIRES EXTRA #5 program, Corentin Canesson, artist native of Brest, was in residence in Brecon in Oct. 2022 to produce an installation presented from Nov. 03, 2022 to Jan. 15, 2023 at the y Gaer Museum.
Within the museum, Corentin Canesson created an original painting on a wall, based on a selection of works chosen from the collection.
His project includes a series of watercolors inspired by these selected, in the purest respect of traditional English painting. This series will be presented in Gouesnou in 2023.
